Messenger Plus! Live 4.02 ... coming soon

Patchou, the creator of Messenger Plus! and Messenger Plus! Live, has said that he is working on the latest update to his hugely successful and popular Windows Live Messenger add-on.

Over at the Messenger Plus! forums Patchou has said:

I'm already working on the update, as soon as things seem to start working I send a beta to the usual testers and 4.02 will then be released publicly as soon as it becomes possible (with some luck, in 8 days from now on saturday).


It is still unclear as yet whether the new version will support the new Windows Live Messenger 8.1 beta that started yesterday as the current version, Messenger Plus! Live 4.01, does not. However, it is thought that it probably will be compatible.

There will be no new features Matti, bug fixes etc will be focused on this version. Patchou has been taking it easy for a while now because he had little spare time while working on Messenger Plus! Live
