Canadian WLM 8.0 Connect Testers: Gift delivery question

It seems that I was not the only Canadian Windows Live Messenger Connect tester* who failed to recieve his/her Windows Live Messenger bag. After each major testing phase, all connect testers of Windows Live Messenger recieve a free gift. For MSN Messenger 7.0, testers recieved a webcam - this time around it's a Messenger bag.

I recieved an email message earlier today from a Microsoft employee, saying that they had recieved complaints from Canadian users about their gifts and to respond if we failed to recieve it. I sincerly hope it was legitimate.

If this is a legitimate email message they will probably do something about the gifts and we will recieve our wonderful bag.

*This means that anyone who registered on the Microsoft Connect website and recieved their updates from there. This is not people who simply were users, and did not have access to the newsgroups.
