Get Messenger on your Nintendo DS

In the past we've told you a couple of ways to use a Windows Live Messenger compatible client on your Sony PSP, but that's no use if you have a Nintendo DS instead.

Now kevinc (coder/maker) and HtheB (skinner and tester/debuger) have released the 0.3 final version of their own Messenger client for the DS, Beup Live.

This is quite an advanced third-party program and, complete with a nice interface, has many of the features of the desktop Windows Live Messenger client including avatars, emoticons, ink messages, choosing your sign-in status, "last message recieved" time and the ability to see if the person you are chatting to is typing a message.

As far as I'm aware it requires an M3 Perfect adapter or a SuperCard but don't let that put you off what looks like a brilliant client.
