It seems all I post about is Messenger Plus! Live these days, but I am sure you don't really mind. Firstly, Patchou has told testers they can release screenshots and talk about features, well I have taken this opportunity to do just that, so sit back and read the amazing stuff that will be coming around April/ May time.

One great new feature coming is scripts. Instead of plugins, this time scripts coded in jscript can be created. So you can do script commands on Windows Live Messenger. But, this would be going backwards, wouldn't it? No, you see scripts are hooking onto messenger but you can call objects and functions still like a plugin, the new system just means much more can be done. Hurray!

The new design is h-o-t, really, it looks stunning, and the new beta is even better than before with the menu looking sleeker than ever. Speaking of design, skinners now do not have to worry if Plus! hooks onto the conversation and contact list probably, it now hooks onto the toolbar and removing/ changing things does not seem to effect this.

All the great old features have been coded back in so far, expect for custom sounds at the moment, but do not worry they should be coming soon. Tabbed chatting is their despite the live team wanting to code it for themselves and of cause boss protection and contacts on desktop are still there.

XHTML chat logging was the first feature announced and it has been the biggest feature so far, however after new and hard work and testing, a lot of bugs have been fixed and I must say it is a fantastic feature, so much better than the old text file logging.

But I can't really nag on about it too much, I say the screenshots should decide for you guys, so enjoy the upcoming Messenger Plus! Live, believe me it is well worth it. The screenshots provided show every feature; just I have not included the installation, so feel free to refer to msgstuff for screenshots.
