Who talked to the people who make Messenger?

The chat session that I posted about yesterday seemed to be a pretty uneventful time.

Because of the (intentional?) time zone incompatibilities for lots of people and the (intentionally?) short notice that was given about the session not many people took part - the maximum people chatting to Nicole at once was apparently 22 - so it seems that most users were able to get responses as was probably planned so that they were not overrun with chats all at once (seeing as each question was asked in a different one-to-one chat window).

However the only new information that seems to have emerged due to the session is that there will be more opportunities for you to chat with Nicole, or maybe some other people in the Messenger team, over Windows Live Messenger, and that they will be at different times to suit different time zones.

This hasn't anything todo with intentionally making it hard for people in Europe to chat with her.
I was simply suggesting that it was maybe intentionally at this time so that she did not get overloaded with lots of people all talking to her at once and as it was the first session like this she maybe wanted to keep it simple to see if it worked well.

It also certainly does not mean questions were planned. I don't see at all how you can come to that conclussion either.
I don't seem to remember or read anything that I said that says questions were planned, I said that users being able to get responses (as in every question being answered) was probably planned due to the small scale of the event. I'm sorry if that was not clear enough.

Bottom line, the first paragraph in this news post is full of uncalled for conclussions.
I only said that the session seemed to be uneventful which was a judgement I made from the information that was available to me, and I had already asked for anyone who took part to post any questions they asked and answers they got in the comments of the previous news post on this subject which would have given me a clearer or more accurate overview.

Don't jump to conclussions that quickly...

The timezone is very logical as this chat was part of her work, 4pm for her is very logical. This hasn't anything todo with intentionally making it hard for people in Europe to chat with her. The world doesn't only consist of people in Europe.

She said she had at one time 22 chat windows open. That doesn't mean there were only 30 people or so. Especially if you consider that in official messenger webchats out of the 100 signed in people only a third or so actually participate.

It also certainly does not mean questions were planned. I don't see at all how you can come to that conclussion either.

Of course she's going to post some different questions/answers on the MessengerSays blog. Posting the same question 10 times wont do anything good.

Also, posting only the questions of 1 person isn't going to do anything good. Of course she would mention more than one person, it also is good writing.

Bottom line, the first paragraph in this news post is full of uncalled for conclussions.
