Windows Live ID has already been seen this week in the new Windows Live Messenger leaked build 8.0.0683.00_Branches, but now if you go to www.hotmail.com you will notice that the new Windows Live ID logo is under the login box, along with some text saying "Works with Windows Live, MSN, and Microsoft Passport sites". Although this has been on the testing domain hotmail-int.com for a while now it has only finally made its way onto the working main MSN and Windows Live services.
Whilst looking for the new domain for Windows Live ID (presumably it will not stay on www.passport.net) I came across a few broken domains and www.windowsliveid.net (strangely hosted by Yahoo!) before coming across the new site: http://login.live.com. This site looks like it will be the new equivalent to www.passport.net, although it does still say Microsoft Passport Network in all places but under the login box.
The most obvious current change is the fact that when you go to login the url is usually at login.live.com and the new logo, but that is only a slight change as you can see below, which is a screenshot from another testing page, this time the account services at the testing passport.net domain at https://accountservices.passport-int.net/ppnetworkhome.srf?vv=400&lc=2057:

So in general Microsoft still have a lot of changes to make from Microsoft Passport Network to Windows Live ID, and this is just the beginning of the new service which promises to offer us multiple credential support, amongst other new features.

There is nothing wrong with my computer. I have been paying $21.00 every month to msn for my dial up account, for the last five years and every year the service gets worse.
Right now is the worst service ever and I am beginning to feel a little foolish for paying so much for such bad service.
Am I the only sucker out here who is paying for msn and having to use free Yahoo to get on the internet?
Can some one tell me why Yahoo free is more dependable, loads faster and always seems to work better than an expensive service like msn?
and you can't get the start menu to popup without pressing the windows key.
