The Philips VOIP433 Dual Phone works with VOIP via Windows Live Messenger and with your traditional phone line. It connects to your PC with USB and features a colour screen and noise interference reduction technology. It is similar to the Uniden phone in many ways, including letting you see your contact list, with dynamic Windows Live Messenger icons, and by delivering notifications on the cordless handset, even when users are away from their PC.
The VOIP433 will apparently be on the market in Europe, Asia Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore) and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil) at the end of May, but no prices are known yet.
Also one thing to bear in mind is that users who share accounts on their PC should create a shared account with shared contacts to avoid a problem where users might have to log on and off to be able to use to their contacts etc.
