New Windows Live Messenger beta expected

The new beta of Windows Live Messenger has cheered up connect testers now they have a hot looking instant messenger with the old less buggy engine and new features. However, people who were invited have been left in the cold along with the old orange design. Well they will soon receive an update according to the live team, upgrading them to the exciting new features and bug fixes plus some extra stuff such as more integration with other Live services, improved sharing folders (yet again) and more virus protection.

However, there have been problems along the way ...
The roof came down on offices in Microsoft destroying a huge pipeline damaging many computers including that of the Messenger team. The source code was saved but coding has been harder as they are constantly being moved from under this and over that. Something like this may delay some progress.
