Back in January we speculated what 2010 would hold for Messenger for Mac. The development team have been teasing the long awaited audio and video features for over a year now, and as promised have released a public beta. This contains many of the same features that were leaked in a private beta last March.

Unfortunately I can never seem to log into Messenger for Mac and this build is no different, so I can't really provide a hands-on. Microsoft have stated that some features, such as file transfers and audio and video chatting appear to have several current limitations within the beta.
