Windows Live Messenger release on June 16th?

Really, in 8 days time will we see the final version of Windows Live Messenger? Well German website Win Future thinks so. Amazingly one short line in a recent news post suggested the release date will be the 16th of June, but without any source or explanation we really do not know.

The MSN Messenger team rarely makes announcements of release dates. The last was for the final release of 7.0 in February last year, so chances are they will give an official date for this release, although they do usually tell us a day or two before. Windows Live Messenger was originally expected to be released in April/ May time, but now in early June, no sign of a release date has been told, but a previous post by the andyman suggested Windows Live Messenger will be released in June time. Maybe he was right?
