They confirm that "Firefox support, performance gains, signatures, Russian language support, and all the rest" are back, as we previously reported. They also gave more information about the update:
Since many of you were wondering, most of the tune-ups related directly to performance and quality of service. We know the importance of being able to access your mail quickly and reliably so we worked hard on enabling that. M6 is now faster, safer, and more reliable than before.
Over on the Mail Support blog there is help for anyone who was on the beta and decided to opt out, only to find that back in Hotmail their contacts are missing. If you need help on this issue then view their blog post about it.
Elsewhere, you can now register your email address to recieve updates about Windows Live Mail Desktop beta, and you might even get on the beta team! It has also been revealed that the name Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta will change before or when the product is released.
