Windows Live Messenger ... delayed!

The Windows Live Messenger "final" release that was rumored to be released on Friday (16th June) has now been delayed. Win-Future, the website that reported that there would be a final release on friday, has now stated that the final release will now be delayed for an uncertain length of time, sources told them.

This is disappointing, I really thought there would be a release on Friday. Suspected reasons for the delay are probably to do with the intergration of other Windows Live services. Windows Live Messenger should be released along with similar products, for example, Windows Live Mail.

Meh, .Lou posted in the staff area about the situation, and I have discussed the problem. The orginal post did mention it is not confirmed, and I did say it probably was wrong .

I agree with .Lou, the Messenger Stuff staff should only post information which has been confirmed and checked, not just place rumours which could be correct...

Look, I'm all for advertising this website and getting more hits, but come on, this was all lies. I'm on the inside, and the big guys at Microsoft said this was never actually released information. Just because other websites have no idea what they are on about, doesn't mean we have to follow their lead and give innacurate information.
