Lapytish Windows Live Messenger release date prediction wrong

In our previous news post about the latest prediction of the Widnows Live Messenger release date we reported that French website Lapytsh thought the release date will be Monday 19th June. The reason that they gave for this was that the internal launch party was on that day, however a blog post by Ines, a developer on the Windows Live Messenger team, says that a Windows Live Messenger event is happening on the 22nd and doesn't mention anything about the 19th. She writes:

There is also a Messenger 8.0 party next Thursday - not sure what or where yet.


Surely this is more likely to be the launch party?

UPDATE:
Lapytsh have now confirmed that Windows Live Messenger will NOT be released on 19th June. It appears it is actually an in-house event at Microsoft France to celebrate the upcoming release of Windows Live Messenger. It also appears that the event on 20th June is a similar event in Redmond.

Also, the French blog LIVE Backstage confirms that neither the Win Future or Lapytsh predictions were correct.
