Boy are things dead, I mean really dead, no news at all. With the RSS readers slowly rising I thought it was best to get some news out there to prove we do write things from time to time. So I went in search of a unique Messenger add-on, and I think I found a good one ...

SmartButler is a program that can read aloud your instant messages. It also responds to voice commands to aid you when using Messenger. The add-on uses various speech recognition tools, all provided within a neat, easy to use installer. Although the program uses Merlin (basically the Windows equivalent to the Microsoft Office paperclip [spoof video] it makes using Messenger more enjoyable and interactive.

SmartButler works across several IM networks, including Windows Live Messenger. It is easy to use, highly customizable and packed full of extra, useful features extending past instant messaging. I suggest giving it a go today.
